Eligibility and Requirements

You are eligible for HSI Service only if you (a) are at least 18 years old (19 years old in Nebraska) and (b) use the HSI Service solely at one location as approved by U.S. Cellular as eligible for your plan. You agree to follow any instructions provided by U.S. Cellular or any U.S. Cellular designated third party regarding installation of any equipment required for the HSI Service.

Use of HSI Service, Cancellation, and Termination.

U.S. Cellular High-Speed Internet is required to be used at only one location within U.S. Cellular's licensed market areas as approved by U.S. Cellular when your HSI Service was activated ("HSI Service Address"). Moving the equipment to a new location other than the HSI Service Address is prohibited. In the event you desire to move your HSI Service from your HSI Service Address you will need to provide notice to U.S. Cellular who will determine if your new location is one approved for your plan. In the event you move the device from the HSI Service Address without U.S. Cellular's approval, we may cancel your HSI Service, require you to agree to a new HSI Service plan, or proactively assign you the most comparable HSI Service plan that is available for the area in which you used the HSI Service. If HSI Service is not available at your new location, you will still be liable if you owe any amounts for the equipment under a Retail Installment Contract. U.S. Cellular may terminate this agreement at any time without notice if we cease to provide HSI Service in the licensed market where your HSI Service Address is located.

IP Addresses

The HSI Service utilizes dynamic IP addresses or privately managed IP addresses. U.S. Cellular makes no guarantees regarding the HSI Service's interconnectivity with the internet and some Internet content may be unavailable to you. Static IP addresses are not used or available for the HSI Service and some uses that require static IP addresses are not supported by the HSI Service.

You agree and understand that the equipment and systems through which U.S. Cellular provides the HSI Service may contain firmware or software ("Software"), and that U.S. Cellular shall have the right to upgrade, update and perform maintenance on the equipment and Software at any time without notice. You consent to any Software license terms associated with your use of or access to the HSI Service or equipment.

Compliance with Law and Prohibited Uses

You agree to comply with applicable laws with respect to your use of the HSI Service including, without limitation, those regarding spam emails, hacking, privacy, eavesdropping, wiretapping, and child pornography and that U.S. Cellular shall have no liability to you regarding video, pictures or audio transmitted, stored or made available by the HSI Service. You agree not to use the HSI Service in any manner that violates any law, rule, statute, regulation, or that defames, libels, or infringes the rights of others, or that interferes with or diminishes the use and satisfaction of the HSI Service or any other services offered by U.S. Cellular by others, or that encourages the committing of any criminal offense. Additionally the HSI Services may not be used in any manner (including but not limited to using any malicious software or malware designed to infiltrate a network or computer system such as spyware, worms, Trojan horses, rootkits, ransomware, and/or crimeware) that defeats, obstructs or penetrates, or attempts to defeat, obstruct or penetrate the security measures of U.S. Cellular's network or systems, or another entity's network or systems; that accesses, or attempts to access without authority, the accounts of others; or that adversely affects the ability of other people or systems to use the HSI Service or any other services offered by U.S. Cellular. You agree you won't use the HSI Service in a manner that creates "denial of service" attacks against a network host or individual user or for "spam" or unsolicited commercial or bulk email (or activities that have the effect of facilitating unsolicited commercial email or unsolicited bulk e-mail), or that resells the HSI Service, or in violation of the third party licenses, policies, or rules for any sites you visit.
