Important information about your Lifeline discount: UScellular no longer participates in the Lifeline program associated with your account. As a result, your Lifeline discount will end on March 31, 2026.

Your options after March 31, 2026: You have choices for continuing Lifeline-supported service if you wish, including:

  • Switching to T-Mobile’s Assurance brand, which offers Lifeline-supported service for eligible customers. (Valid for one voice line; requires reverification for Lifeline.)
  • Choosing another Lifeline provider that participates in the program.
  • Continuing service without a Lifeline discount, if that option works for you.

What stays the same during this process: While this change affects your Lifeline discount, we’re committed to making this as straightforward as possible:

  • Your phone service will continue to work as it does today.
  • Our care teams remain available to support you throughout this process.

If you continue service without a Lifeline discount, your service will continue after March 31, 2026, and your account will move to T-Mobile’s system this year.

  • You’ll receive clear communication if any additional action is needed for your account.
  • If no action is required, you’ll receive instructions on how to access and manage your account online and through T-Mobile’s T-Life app.
