Things We Want You To Know

A Retail Installment Contract is required for all Smartphones and basic phones. A Customer Service Agreement with a 2-yr. initial term (subject to a pro-rated $150 early termination fee for modems and hotspot devices and a $350 early termination fee for tablets) required. Credit approval required for all new lines. The Customer Service Agreement Terms and Conditions apply for as long as you are a customer. Regulatory Cost Recovery Fee (currently $2.99) applies; this is not a tax or government required charge. Additional fees, taxes, terms, conditions and coverage areas may apply and vary by plan, service, and phone. Use of service constitutes acceptance of the terms of our Customer Service Agreement. UScellular reserves the right to terminate your service if more than 50% of your overall minutes in each of three consecutive billing cycles are used in UScellular's non-licensed markets. UScellular reserves the right to terminate your service if more than 400 MB of your data usage in any month is used in UScellular's non-licensed markets.

Kansas Customers: In areas in which UScellular receives support from the Federal Universal Service Fund, all reasonable requests for service must be met. Unresolved questions concerning services availability can be directed to the Kansas Corporation Commission Office of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection at 1-800-662-0027.

Retail Installment Pricing: You may return the wireless device to us in good condition and accompanied with original packaging, battery, accessories and instruction manuals within fifteen (15) days of purchase. If you return the device, you must have valid proof of purchase and will be entitled to a full refund of the purchase price, less a restocking fee of $35.00. After completing the return, and payment of the restocking fee, we will credit the amount of your refund to your obligation to pay the Amount Financed.

Promise to Pay: You must enter a Retail Installment Contract ("Contract") and pay us the Amount Financed under the Contract by making the payments in the amounts described in the Payment Schedule. You may prepay all of the unpaid balance of the Amount Financed at any time without penalty. If you want to prepay the unpaid balance, you must contact us and then we will bill you for the full amount owed on your next statement. You will be in default if you: (a) fail to make any payment when required, (b) violate any other provision of the Contract, (c) become the subject of any bankruptcy or insolvency proceeding, or (d) die. If you are in default, to the extent permitted by applicable law, we may require you to pay immediately the entire unpaid Amount Financed as well as our collection costs, attorneys' fees and court costs related to enforcing your obligations under the Contract.

Insurance/Extended Warranty: You are not required to purchase property insurance protecting against the loss or theft of the device or an extended warranty contract ("Protection Products") as a condition to receiving credit. You may obtain property insurance and extended warranty coverage from anyone you want.

Wireless Service: You are required to obtain voice, messaging or data wireless service ("Wireless Service") from us or our affiliates at the time you enter into Contract in order to obtain retail installment pricing under this Contract. We may include the charges you owe under the Contract on the bills you receive for the Wireless Service. Other terms and conditions for Wireless Service will apply. If you purchase a tablet device, you may terminate your Wireless Service agreement after the first month of Wireless Service without an early termination fee. If you purchase a handset device, you are required to maintain Wireless Service during the term of the Contract.

15-Day Excellence Guarantee: If you are not completely satisfied and decide to discontinue your service within the 15 days, you’ll receive a full refund of the cost of the equipment and pay for only the service you’ve used plus a $35 restocking fee. No early termination fee will apply. Equipment must be returned undamaged and in the original packaging.

Trade-In Program: Participation in the program is subject to the terms and conditions of the program. See Trade-in Program for details.

Upgrade Program: If you purchase wireless service with an upgrade program, once you become eligible, we will accept the device financed under the Retail Installment Contract ("Contract") in good, working condition for the unpaid balance of the Amount Financed and you agree to enter a new Contract for a new device. Subject to credit approval.

Unlimited Talk & Text to Mexico and Canada: Addt'l feature included for Total Plan Unlimited data plans only. Accounts in good standing only. Certain customers may require additional verification or a 90 days account in good standing prior to activation of Int’l dialing feature. Unlimited calling to Mexico and Canada only applies to calls placed from UScellular’s licensed market areas. Roaming calls will incur additional charges based rates and availability of local wireless carrier. Additional per minute charges may apply to Int’l calls to countries other than Mexico and Canada. Your Int’l Dialing capabilities may be suspended at UScellular’s discretion to require a partial payment on demand for charges incurred for Int’l calls to countries other than to Canada and Mexico. Failure to make such payment may result in the suspension of all Int’l calling including to Canada and Mexico. Service to countries listed is not guaranteed. Service may be unavailable, interrupted or delayed due to transmission limitations caused by atmosphere or topographical conditions, governmental regulations or orders, acts of war, acts of God, system capacity limitations, network repairs or maintenance. Country availability and rates are subject to change without notice. Int’l per-minute toll rate is in addition to airtime charges and is billed from the first minute. Airtime charges will vary according to your price plan. Airtime, overage charges, taxes, long distance, tolls and other charges will apply. Other restrictions and limitations may apply.

Unlimited Voice: may not be used for conference calling, continuous call forwarding or other connections that do not consist of uninterrupted live dialogue between two persons.

Text Messaging: UScellular does not guarantee message delivery or timeliness. UScellular is not responsible for content of messages. Text messages are billed per address. By using Text Messaging you agree to be bound by all terms and conditions at Messaging Services Terms & Conditions.

Picture and Video Messaging: You may be charged for Picture and Video Messages sent from your phone, even if not delivered to the intended recipient due to system or compatibility issues. Picture and Video Messages are billed per address. UScellular is not responsible for content of pictures or videos.

UScellular Home Phone: the UScellular Home Phone Device in conjunction with Home Phone Service is a Commercial Mobile Radio Service and not a landline phone service. 911 calls made using UScellular Home Phone are routed through UScellular's automatic location technology and users should be prepared to provide their physical address to emergency responders.
