Installment Pricing gives you the freedom to upgrade to a new device before your Retail Installment Contract ends, so long as you've made the minimum installment payments (30 payments on a 36-month contract) or pay off the remaining balance. Prepaid plans are not eligible to be selected with devices purchased with installments.
