Product Discontinuation Notification Information

U.S. Cellular® is streamlining the charges that appear on your bill. Beginning November 20th, 2015, some of the apps you're currently using will no longer be supported via carrier billing (monthly charges on your U.S. Cellular bill). Don't worry, we are here to ensure a smooth transition. Our partners are helping us guarantee that your customer experience is minimally impacted. For some apps, you will be instructed to download a vendor's application and/or use a credit card to purchases/monthly access. While the app may appear different (for example, the U.S. Cellular logo and coloring will no longer appear), the experience will largely remain the same. If you wish to delete/remove any app, please follow your devices' normal procedures.

This page lists direction for six different services that will no longer be available after 11/20/2015. Only one application listed below may be relevant to you, or perhaps more, this all depends on what you have downloaded and/or use on your own device.

U.S. Cellular Family Organizer

U.S. Cellular will no longer offer U.S. Cellular Family Organizer starting July 7, 2016. In order to continue uninterrupted service, you will need to visit the Google Play store to download Cozi Family Organizer and use the same login credentials. With this transition, you will retain any information stored within the U.S. Cellular Family Organizer app. Once you have verified that your information has been transferred, you should delete the U.S. Cellular Family Organizer app from your device.

Tethering-On Demand

U.S. Cellular will no longer be offering Tethering-On Demand application starting March 15, 2016. Customers who already have a tethering plan may continue to use it and will be charged each month. Customers who are interested in a tethering option are encouraged to move to one of our tethering included plans. If you have questions, please call 1-888-944-9400 or visit a store near you.


 

Your Navigator Deluxe — Free Premium Access (legacy data plans only)

Your Navigator Deluxe Starting on March 15, 2016, the Premium features of Your Navigator Deluxe such as voice guided offline navigation, commuter alerts and premium discounts will no longer be included as a free service for all legacy data plans. After March 15, if you would like to continue using these and more Premium features for $7.99 per month, you will have to click the Your Navigator Deluxe icon on your phone or download the app from the Appstore/Play Store to subscribe to the full service. Android Gaming by Gameloft

Gameloft Carrier billing for Gameloft will no longer be supported starting November 20th 2015, however, you will be able to use a credit card for subscriptions and in app purchases after that date. While the credit card method will be made available, all unused credits accumulated while using U.S. Cellular carrier billing should be redeemed prior to November 20th, 2015 to ensure a smooth transition.

Family Protector

Family ProtectorU.S. Cellular will no longer offer "U.S. Cellular Family Protector" starting November 20th, 2015. In order to continue uninterrupted service, you will need to visit the Google Play store to download NQ Family Guardian as a replacement for the U.S. Cellular Family Protector. You can find "NQ Family Guardian" on the Google Play Store here. .

Privacy Protector

Privacy Protector U.S. Cellular will no longer offer "U.S. Cellular Privacy Protector" starting November 20th, 2015. In order to continue uninterrupted service, you will need to visit the Google Play store to download "NQ Vault" as a replacement for the "U.S. Cellular Privacy Protector."" You can find "NQ Vault" on the Google Play Store here.

PrivacyStar

PrivacyStar Carrier billing for PrivacyStar will no longer be supported starting November 20th 2015, however, current paid subscribers will be offered the service from PrivacyStar for free. To ensure your PrivacyStar experience is uninterrupted, please upgrade the application through the Google Play store application on your device here.

Toon Goggles

Toon Goggles U.S. Cellular will no longer offer Toon Goggles starting November 20th, 2015. In order to continue uninterrupted premium service, please visit, please visit toongoggles.com/upgrade. Once there you can create a new free account and then click upgrade to continue to fill out your billing information. Please also note that your current Toon Goggles app will no longer work after November 20th, and you will need to download the non-carrier billed version in Google Play here.

Please keep in mind you can also download the Toon Goggles service for free on any smart phone, tablet or smart TV to instantly enjoy our videos and games for free with limited advertising.

Bill to Cell

Beginning November 20th, U.S. Cellular will no longer support Bill to Cell. This means certain services such as Facebook credits, gaming credits, Spotify subscriptions, social network website access (IMVU,com), Text Collect, Sony, and various other Bill to Cell participant programs will no longer give you the option of adding those charges to your U.S. Cellular bill. We encourage customers currently using Bill to Cell for such services to begin using alternative payment methods as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.


 

Yahoo! Messenger for SMS and AOL Instant Messaging to Mobile

U.S. Cellular will no longer support Yahoo! Messenger for SMS or AOL Instant Messaging to Mobile products (IM to Mobile, Mobile AIM IM Forwarding, AIM TXT). This means customers using any of these products will no longer be able to forward their Yahoo! or AOL instant messages to their mobile device as SMS messages. We encourage customers to look into alternative smartphone applications and web to text options, such as U.S. Cellular's Web to Text. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
