U.S. CELLULAR BUILDS NEW CELL SITE TO INCREASE WIRELESS NETWORK COVERAGE IN WIND RIVER

STEVENSON, WASHINGTON (February 9, 2015) – U.S. Cellular (NYSE: USM) continues to invest in its high-quality network with a new cell site in the Wind River area. The site will increase U.S. Cellular's coverage going north on Wind River Highway and will improve cell service throughout the community. U.S. Cellular is the only carrier to provide cellular service to this area.

To select locations for new cell sites, U.S. Cellular has teams of system performance engineers who drive through the company's network coverage area, sometimes hundreds of miles a day, to test the signal strength and call quality. The company also listens to customer feedback to help identify the communities that would benefit from another cell site.
