Russell Westbrook and U.S. Cellular to host Halloween costume contest
OKLAHOMA, Oct. 21, 2015 – Oklahoma City Thunder fans can celebrate Halloween early with Russell Westbrook and sport their best costume for a chance to win a $100 Thunder Shop gift card and an autographed basketball. With the official season right around the corner, OKC Thunder fans can show their local team spirit and be judged on their most creative costume.
On Sunday, October 25 from 1 to 4 p.m., Russell Westbrook will be at the U.S. Cellular store at 2130 West Memorial Road, where any OKC-area residents are welcome to give their best effort in the Russell Westbrook Halloween costume contest. The first 20 costumed attendees to arrive at the store will be able to participate in the contest. The contest winner will receive a $100 Thunder Shop gift card and an autographed basketball, while the other 19 participants will receive a $25 Thunder Shop gift card. Participants will have the opportunity to meet Russell Westbrook after the contest.

Each contestant will be considered and judged on criteria including originality, creativity and authenticity. Judges for the Halloween costume contest include Russell Westbrook, Lesley McCaslin, courtside reporter for the Thunder and Fox Sports Oklahoma, and a
U.S. Cellular representative.
The Thunder Drummers and a few Thunder Girls will be in attendance at the U.S. Cellular store to engage and interact with fans as a way to rally excitement for the Oklahoma City Thunder's 2015-2016 season. Also, the shopping center where U.S. Cellular is located, will offer trick-or-treating.
