U.S. Cellular's Android-powered devices come in handy when planning a memorable Feb. 14

U.S. Cellular, ranked the best wireless carrier in the country by a customer survey in Consumer Reports, is offering a buy-one-get-one-free sale on all of its Android-powered devices now through Feb. 17. The Android operating system gives customers access to more than 200,000 applications, most of which are free. U.S. Cellular recommends these to assist with Feb. 14 plans:

  • 1800flowers Mobile Gift Center: Send real or virtual flowers to a significant other, link to exclusive offers and create flower arrangements for all occasions all with this app.
  • Urbanspoon: Can't decide where to eat? Shake your phone and this app suggests restaurants near you. Restaurant searches can be customized by city, cuisine and price.
  • Kiss My Valentine: This app provides a daily reminder with quantities/descriptions of items to get that special someone and allows people to send a customized digital sweetheart message anytime leading up to Valentine's Day. Digital kisses, hugs and wishes are available.
  • I Love You: Say "I love you" 100 different ways with romantic messages from this app that just might spark a romance.
  • Valentine's Day Poems: Need help expressing your love? This app can help individuals spread the love in poetic drama, hymns, lyrics or prose poetry.
