Plans Range from $29 – $49 with Unlimited Messaging and Data Options

CHICAGO – (December 2, 2010) – U.S. Cellular is giving value-seekers another reason to rejoice this holiday season with the announcement of three new prepaid monthly plans ranging from $29 to $49. These high-value plans are great options for those who want to experience the joys of wireless with no bill surprises. Prepaid plans also represent a great way for new customers to check out U.S. Cellular's cool phones, high-speed network and excellent customer service.

With balancing the budget on the minds of many, prepaid plans can help customers stay on top of spending and don't require a contractual agreement. U.S. Cellular's new prepaid plans offer spending flexibility through unlimited messaging choices and graduated levels of included voice minutes.

The $29 Prepaid Plan is ideal for customers who text more than they talk. It includes 200 minutes and unlimited text, picture and video messaging. Designed for the avid texter, the Samsung Messager Touch would pair well with this prepaid plan. This handset boasts a 2.6" QVGA touchscreen and full slide-out keyboard.

The $39 Prepaid Plan is geared toward customers who primarily text and surf the web. It includes 400 minutes, unlimited text, picture and video messaging and up to 5G of web browsing. Cool phones that suit this plan include the Samsung Freeform, Motorola GRASP and LG Mystique which all have full keyboards.

The $49 Prepaid Plan is a good fit for customers who use their phones for talking and texting. It includes 1,000 minutes and unlimited text, picture and video messaging. The LG Wine or Samsung Profile would couple nicely with this plan.

U.S. Cellular also recently introduced new Belief Plans for postpaid customers. The $69.99 Primary Plus Plan, the best value in wireless, is smartphone-friendly and comes with 5GB of data, unlimited text, picture and video messaging and free GPS navigation. This plan also includes free unlimited incoming calls from any phone, nights and weekends and mobile-to-mobile calls.

The Essential Plus Family Plan comes with two lines for $139.99 per month with 1500 shared minutes, unlimited messaging and 5GB of data per line, and the Premium Plus Family Plan offers two lines with unlimited minutes and messaging, 5GB of data per line, Phone Replacement and GPS navigation for $179.99 per month.
