CHICAGO, January 20, 2009 – Dan Tracey has been named director of sales for U.S. Cellular in Indiana, where he will lead all sales activities and uphold U.S. Cellular's commitment to providing the best customer service in the industry.

Tracey has been with U.S. Cellular for six years in various roles in sales and marketing. He will report to Keith Blackmon, senior director of sales for U.S. Cellular's Midwest Region.

"Dan has grown immensely as a leader and understands what's most important to our customers," said Blackmon. "His passion and energy is a great motivator for everyone around him."

U.S. Cellular's business model begins with passionate and strong leaders. Associates believe that a wireless company should be in the business of bringing people together and make human connections happen, not just sell phones. This approach allows the company to provide the best and most complete wireless experience, which leads to the company's most loyal customers.

Tracey enjoys spending his leisure time with his wife and two children, plays golf occasionally and volunteers in the community through U.S. Cellular's United Way charitable giving campaign.
