U.S. Cellular Partners with Gearworks for Location-based Mobile Applications

U.S. Cellular will deliver Gearworks' etrace® portfolio of location-based mobile applications on-deck to its business customers in 26 states.

Four etrace packages will be made available by U.S. Cellular at launch:

- etrace® Standard â€“ Provides worker locating features plus mobile timecards, enabling workers to punch in/out for shifts and enter job information directly into their handsets.
- etrace® Pro â€“ Combines the features of Standard and adds robust job dispatching, customizable forms and navigation to streamline fuel sophistication reports and integrate data in the field with back-office payroll.
- etrace® Pro with Nav â€“ Includes all of the functionality of the Pro package, as well as audible, turn-by-turn driving directions to guide workers to customer locations quickly and safely.
Deploying etrace across mobile workforces enables U.S. Cellular business customers to benefit from reduced overtime, increased productivity, fuel savings and improved customer service. Depending on the specific deployment, return on investment can often be achieved in a matter of weeks.
