U.S. Cellular Launches Device Workshops Featuring iPhone and iPad in Northern Illinois

Initiative Helps Users Get the Most out of Their Device

Rockford, Ill. (April 14, 2014) – U.S. Cellular announced today that it will exclusively launch Device Workshops Featuring iPhone and iPad in Northern Illinois, offering the first-of-their-kind workshops in Machesney Park, Rockford and Freeport, Illinois. Based on this pilot program, a company-wide approach may become available in other markets. The 4G LTE iPhone 5s and iPad Air have become a "must-have" for many people, but not everyone is aware of all they are capable of doing and their ability to simplify and enhance their lives.

The Device Workshops Featuring iPhone and iPad will be led by U.S. Cellular's dedicated iPhone Masters, associates who have been specially trained on the devices. The workshops were developed to address the questions of current or potential customers who are eager to use their devices to the fullest. Workshops are open to everyone and you don't have to be a U.S. Cellular customer to attend and take advantage.

"Our dedicated iPhone masters are expert resources that will make their debut in the area and serve the needs of consumers interested in these devices."

The series of workshops will be held on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., launching on April 19 in Machesney Park (1516 West Lane Rd.), continuing with Rockford (881 S. Perryville Rd.) on April 26, and Freeport on May 3 (2705 Illinois Rt 26 South). Interested attendees can contact their nearest store by phone to RSVP.
