Katherine Hust Named Regional Vice President for U.S. Cellular's New North Central Region

Chicago (Feb. 4, 2014) – Katherine Hust has been named regional vice president of sales for the newly formed North Central region for U.S. Cellular (NYSE: USM). Hust previously served as vice president of sales for the Chicago-based company's Mid-Central region.

In her new role, Hust will oversee the company's customer growth and retention, data expansion, associate sales performance and will drive new company initiatives in Illinois, Iowa, Maine, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Vermont and Wisconsin. She will provide direction and support to approximately 2,000 U.S. Cellular associates in the region.

In past positions, Hust served as vice president of the Central region where she managed sales, finance, operations and engineering for U.S. Cellular. During this time Hust led a region-wide commitment to providing industry-leading customer service at each step of the sales process that increased customer growth and further improved customer satisfaction.

Hust first joined U.S. Cellular in 1997 as a district sales manager and has since held a number of management positions throughout U.S. Cellular's footprint including regional sales manager, area sales manager, area retail manager and director of sales for California and southern Oregon.

Hust serves as a member of the board of directors for the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, the board of directors for the Better Business Bureau of Chicago & Northern Illinois, the board of directors of the Zoological Society of Milwaukee and the board of trustees of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee.

Hust holds a bachelor's degree from Mount Mary College in Milwaukee and has a certificate in management from Marquette University. Hust resides Milwaukee area with her family.
