U.S. CELLULAR RELOCATES RETAIL STORE IN CLINTON

CLINTON, Iowa, Oct. 12, 2012 – Whether you prefer to call and text or you are a technology enthusiast who wants all the bells and whistles of a power-packed smartphone, U.S. Cellular (NYSE: USM) encourages customers to visit its relocated location in Clinton at 1814 Lincoln Way. At the 3,168-square-foot store, customers can speak with an associate about the many benefits of being a U.S. Cellular customer, such as new devices faster without resigning contracts and the only points-based reward program in wireless.

"At U.S. Cellular, we treat our customers like neighbors, not numbers, and our stores are designed with them in mind," said Don Cochran, director of sales for U.S. Cellular in Iowa. "We are committed to delivering products and services that simplify and enhance our customers' daily lives, and our associates are always eager to help."

The location provides a comfortable environment for associates to help customers choose the best plans and phones for their needs. Customers will be guided through the advanced features and functions on their new devices that keep them organized and enhance their lives. There also is an expanded service center with an on-site technician and four additional work stations for a total of eight customer consulting stations. The store employs 12 associates, features product information displays and interactive phone demonstration stations.

Customers can test out U.S. Cellular's cutting-edge devices that include the Samsung Galaxy S® III and other Android-powered, Windows Phone and BlackBerry® devices. Customers will enjoy faster web browsing and quick app downloads with access to 4G LTE speeds that are up to 10 times faster than 3G.

A recent survey conducted by U.S. Cellular uncovered that 44 percent of individuals in the Midwest are in the "seven-year itch" phase with their wireless provider, noting they are comfortable but suspect they are missing out on something better.

"We believe it's time for consumers to know they don't have to settle with their wireless relationship and we're encouraging them to stop by to learn why U.S. Cellular customers are the most satisfied in wireless," Cochran said.
