U.S. CELLULAR ANNOUNCES SPONSORSHIP WITH THE OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER
OKLAHOMA CITY – U.S. Cellular and the Oklahoma City Thunder announced a three-year partnership for the wireless company to become the official wireless sponsor of the team. This sponsorship agreement paves the way for fun new experiences for fans attending the games.
During the 2011-12 season, U.S. Cellular's interactive kiosk will offer more fun for the family including interactive games. In addition, fans can check out U.S. Cellular's cutting-edge devices and learn about the benefits of switching to U.S. Cellular, like faster phone upgrades without continuously signing contracts, and joining the happiest customers in wireless. The sponsorship will also create the Thunder Text Alert Program which will provide text alerts to fans wishing to stay up-to-date on scores, team information, breaking news and special promotions.

U.S. Cellular's first major sponsorship with an NBA organization includes enhancing the arena with the U.S. Cellular Loft, the newest premium seating addition to the Oklahoma City Arena. Fans will not only enjoy the basketball game from some of the best seats in the house, but also will have access to interactive games and wait service. This area can be used for parties, company functions and other events. U.S. Cellular also will support all Oklahoma City Thunder texting contests and promotions.
