LOCAL U.S. CELLULAR ASSOCIATE RECEIVES PRESIDENT'S AWARD
EUREKA, Calif. (May 13, 2010) — Each year, U.S. Cellular associates who go above and beyond to provide extraordinary service are recognized each year as "the best of the best" with the President's Award.
Recipients nationwide are selected from 9,000 company associates. One of this year's honorees lives and works in Eureka: Crystal Hurley, a Retail Wireless Consultant for the company.
"The President's Award is my way of saying 'thank you' to associates who have gone the extra mile to provide the ideal customer experience," said Roberta Winger, director of sales for U.S. Cellular in California. "I am proud of our winners, whose actions speak 'Believe in Something Better' louder than words ever can."
Recently, winners of the 2010 President's Award enjoyed a weekend for two in Chicago, where the company is headquartered. They attended a White Sox baseball game at U.S. Cellular Field and an awards banquet where they were presented the President's Award plaque and a monetary gift.
