ROLL 'EM! FREE MOVIES RETURN TO KENNEWICK
KENNEWICK, Wash., June 9, 2009 – Warm summer nights at Columbia Park will again come alive this year with a family-friendly series of movies sponsored by U.S. Cellular. The movies start at dusk and various pre-show activities begin at 7:30 p.m. every Saturday evening between June 20 and August 8, except July 4 and 25.
The free movies are open to all ages and families are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs, along with food and drink (alcohol is not permitted) and enjoy a fun summer evening at the movies. For a full schedule of movies and events, please call (509) 947-PARK.
"Summer is a time for all of us to be outside and enjoy the fantastic weather. We're excited for the Movies on the River series to begin, providing a fun, free, family event outdoors," said Kim Sebastian, director of sales for U.S. Cellular in Washington.
