With more than 25 years of experience leading consumer-driven businesses and building brands,
U.S. Cellular's President and CEO Mary N. Dillon is passionate about leveraging consumer insights and customer-focused strategies to propel share gains and profitable growth. She applied that leadership philosophy to guide U.S. Cellular through the launch of The Belief Project, an array of industry-first initiatives that elevate the wireless customer experience and reward loyalty. Dillon continues to lead the company in finding innovative ways to inspire customer advocacy, advance the brand and drive profitability and shareholder value.

Prior to joining U.S. Cellular in June 2010, Dillon served as global chief marketing officer and executive vice president for McDonald's Corporation. She led the company's worldwide marketing efforts and global brand strategy. Prior to joining McDonald's, Dillon was president of the Quaker Foods division of PepsiCo Corporation. She began her career in marketing for Quaker Oats in 1984 and held several positions of increasing responsibility, including vice president of marketing for Gatorade.

Dillon has been on the board of directors for Target Corporation since 2007. She also serves as vice chair and executive committee member for CTIA-The Wireless Association. In addition, she is on the board of directors for Northshore University Health System, serves on the Civic Committee of The Commercial Club of Chicago and is a member of The Economic Club of Chicago and The Chicago Network. Dillon was named one of FierceWireless' "Most Influential Women in Wireless" in 2011.

The Chicago native earned her bachelor's degree in Marketing and Asian Studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dillon resides with her husband and four children in the Chicago suburbs.
