Community Involvement
Mission Statement

We strive to build a connection with our communities that extends beyond our business by supporting a cause that strengthens every neighborhood where we live, work and play.

We're committed to enhancing the learning experience for children and communities by championing K-12 and STEM educational programs. Our giving efforts include financial donations, in-kind donations, volunteering and our Associate Matching Program.

Two National Nonprofit Relationships

In support of K-12 educational programming, U.S. Cellular is proud to build relationships with two national nonprofits in our local communities.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of America and National 4-H Council are organizations that provide crucial Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) programming throughout our markets and prepare students to make a positive impact in their schools, communities and the world at large. We are pleased to invest our time, talent and financial contributions into supporting these nonprofits in the communities we serve.

Associate Matching Program

Through our Associate Matching Program, we match associates' charitable donations to nonprofit organizations dollar-for-dollar, up to $2,500 per year, with an annual cap of $250,000. Our associates invest in their communities and so does U.S. Cellular.

The passion and energy of our associates are displayed daily as we volunteer at local nonprofits in our communities. During our Inaugural Month of Giving in April we volunteered more than 3,900 hours with local Boys & Girls and 4-H Clubs across our footprint. We are working to increase that number during the remainder of the year through summer, Back to School and Holiday events.

If you are a nonprofit organization, please register with VolunteerMatch.org. Registration is free for non-profits and will allow your organization to connect with volunteers from a large online network, which includes U.S. Cellular associates.
